I come to upholstery
from a strong background
in the visual arts
and design.
I have an enduring love of sewing and working with my hands.
Upholstery involves all of these skills.
Each piece is new and different.
I work out of my home studio by appointment only.
I work solo. This means I do each part in the process.
A thru Z. Tear down, repairs, sewing, and upholstering.
Working in this way allows me to give each job my full attention. This also allows me to work more closely with my customers. I like it when we can work together to make exciting one-of-a-kind pieces happen. People who work with me often learn a bit about upholstering as well. I’m happy to share knowledge and resources.

I do have size constraints. Since I am solo, I do not do couches. Getting them down to my studio is difficult, and I cannot manipulate them by myself on the work tables.
A love seat is the largest piece I can comfortably handle, both physically and in my workspace.
I offer services in upholstery and upholstery restoration.
